Reading feeds our minds and soul. In this episode of Cafecito with Rosie we will hear an inspiring story from an excellent writer and journalist, Shirley Jump.

Shirley Jump is a New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Amazon, and USA Today bestselling author who has published more than 70 books in 24 countries. As the owner of JumpStart Creative Solutions, Shirley also does book building, content editing, ghostwriting, and author coaching. 

As a former reporter and communications director for a marketing agency, she uses her diverse background to help clients create impactful content that opens up new revenue streams.

She shared that in collaborative writing it is important to listen to your client. Being a journalist, you need to share your ideas with your group. Jump sees everything around her and believes that “every one of us has a voice story to tell and share that to other people.” We have a purpose in life and part of that is communicating our story.

She believes you need to trust yourself and not worry about things too much, everything will work accordingly. Embracing yourself for who you are is your biggest asset.

As the show ends, Rosie shares that “you are the biggest asset.” People cannot live without you, you are unique, and necessary you are created with a purpose.
